Valuation with material cost estimate error

we have a very serious problem. For the last 2 days we were not able to take print of the invoice as we have put a control that when the document is not released for account, printing of invoice cannot happen.

The error is "Valuation with Material Cost Estimate error". This we found in VFX3. Since this part no. is a new product part no (NPD), we run the cost estimate through CKW1 and CKW4. But still we are not able to release the costing. Request your help on this.

For info, this process is followed in our company from May 2006 and was running smoothly as of now. But this part no. is an exceptional case for us.

Such errors occurs when creating material valuation class is not maintained/Wrongly entered.

So In your material Master check whether correct valuation class is maintained or not...

Also consult with your MM/FI person if they have entered Valuation class and When...

The valuation class at the item level and the Header level is different. System is not allowing to correct the valuation class. How can we resolve this

You have to make stock for that material 0 first...then only you can change valuation class..

Before making any changes consult with ur MM & FI Consultant...
