It give the total number of lines internal table is having and total lines stores in variable <b>no_of_cust</b>.

I guess in your <b>Describe table i_zcust lines no_of_cust.</b> you are reading the total number of customers.

The current number of table rows of the internal table i_zcust is determined and is assigned to the data object no_of_cust.
