SSO for Multiple Windows Domains

Former Member

Hi,

We are trying to configure SSO using Microsoft Kerberos SSP on Windows

Domain. We have couple of server which reside on a different Windows

domain. We wanted to know if we can configure a common single SSO which

works for Multiple Windows Domains.

NOTE: We do not have EP. We are planning to use SNC and Windows Kerberos for SSO.

Thanks and regards,

Barani.

Barani,

maybe I'm missing the sense of your question...but...sure you can. Just follow the SNC user guide here:

https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/ac81c690-0201-0010-c4b4-c72618f3...

Also check it out from MS side, there're a lot of interesting security applications:

http://www.microsoft.com/isv/sap/technology/interop/ad.aspx

For what I know the SNC mechanisms work even if the users authentication is done on different domains, the important is that a trusting between the domains is in place (better if your multiple domains are part of one AD forest...).

Hi Mauro,

Thank you very much for the reply.

we solved the issue by defining trust between the domains.

Barani.
