Transaction VF04 had the highest response times

Hi Experts

I am using MSQL SERVER 2000 X 4.7 200 VERSION

Checking the statistics for my SAP buffers was inconclusive since the system was recently restarted . I even check the response time the update process for the past week and it is average around 1.5 seconds. but again, transaction VF04 had the highest response and DB Time. .

I doubt if there is any need to rebuild indexes,will that help me to increase the response time if so then please tell how to rebuild the indexes in SAP for VF04 transaction.

Hi Piroz,

Use SM50 to monitor which SQL cause the slow performance.

And pass the SQL to ST05 to get the cost

If the cost is high, than you can search for the notes using that table and VF04 as keyword.

Sometime in my case I just create a additional index for this Query.

And this solve my problem.

But the best way if you can found the notes that repaire the program.
