Hi guru's I need ur help here in va01 when I raise purchase request .. it is asking

<b> NO BUSINESS AREAS CAN BE DETERMINED FOR ITEM 000010</b>

can any of u please tell me what to do

You need to specify the rules you want to use for determining the business area for each sales area

Three Rules are available

1.Business area assignment by Plant/Item division

2.Business area assignment by Sales Area

3.Business area assignment by Sales organization/Distribution Channel,Item Division

To do these configs In Customizing Go to

IMG ->Enterpries Structure ->Assignment ->Sales and Distribution ->Bussiness Area Account Assignment
