in our brbackup detail logs for incrementals
one sees
BR0061I 2 files found for backup, total size 130.555 MB
[chop]...
for the first file
#SAVED.... /sapbackup/saptrp/TRP_DB_BACKUP/bdwfkshk/BDWFKSHK.INCR #1/1 787521536 31/0
...
BR0063I 1 of 1 file processed - 121.383 MB of 121.383 MB done
the actual file size is 787,521,536 bytes
and the second file
BR0319I Control file copy created: /oracle/TRP/sapbackup/cntrlTRP.dbf 9617408
#SAVED.... /sapbackup/saptrp/TRP_DB_BACKUP/bdwfkshk/cntrlTRP.dbf #1/2
the actual file size is what is in BR0319I
here's the issue and question
why is BR0061I and BR0063I short by 600 Megs and why is the second #SAVED
missing the file size ?
and is there a way of getting the 'correct' total of what is written during the backup ?
the first #SAVED has in it the file size in bytes, but the second one doesnt
