Billing Plan from Quotation to Sales Order

Hello Friends,

When Iam creating a Sales Order with reference to a Quotation, I want to copy the Billing Plan automatically from Quotation to Sales Order.

How can I achieve this??

During sales order processing, the system determines from the item category whether a

billing plan is required and, if so, which type of plan

The type of billing plan that is determined at this point is set up in Customizing and

cannot be changed in the sales document

Iam basically a ABAPer, appreciate if you could elaborate the procedure how do we do that at item category level.

Hi Smitha,

I had a similar requirement couple of days b4. We can use copy routine 402.

Billing Plan data of quotation is stored in itab CFPLT and we have to move this to itab XFPLT (Sales Order Billing Plan data) by writing an ABAP Code in routine 402. Strangely it DOES'NT WORK.

Is this because of the SAP Version? or Is there any reason. Can any one please help?
