LD_LIBRARY_PATH

I am appending LD_LIBRARY_PATH path...

To take effect , i am logging off and back in....But new env variable is not taking effect.

Where can i make this change ?

How did you do it ? did you edit the dot (.) env files for used setenv command ?

if you used setenc command , then thats only good for the current session and once you log off you will loose changes.If you want to make it permanent , you have to put that in evnvirnment variables files

which environment file ? .sapenv file or what ?

i tried setenv which i know its only for current session.

Check .sapenv and .dbenv . It should by default take the correct value depends on your OS.
