We are running SAP 4.7 in prod with a two-node cluster (SALSAPCI) and two app servers. We have defined a SAP Logon group called "Production" that has the twp app servers in it. The SAP GUI for dialog users works fine, but we have SAP ITS running, and when we have external users accessing the app. It doesn't appear that they are subjected to the two app servers when logging into SAP. We use a "service" account for these users and we see logins on all servers (apps and the CI server) for this user. In the ITS "global.srvc" file for the port, we have specified "production" for the Logingroup value - am I missing something or is there another area I need to address ?
Thanks
Hello Brian
I believe you are running into the problem mentioned in note 537301:
https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/537301
Keep in mind that Logon Groups are case sensitiv so "Production" and "production" refer to different Logon Groups.
best regards
Gerd
