Hi Sunil,
If error still persists then try following
This error is uncritical, simply skip this step by either
editing keydb.xml in installation directory and replacing [ERROR] by [OK] and proceed with the instllation.

Hi sunil,
At least the last solution should work as this will bypass the error and installation will continue.

Hi Sunil,
This is due to the problematic control.xml file supplied with the CD.
Could you find the entry in control.xml as ("sapdataNodeInfo: ",sapdataNodeInfo[idx].Key," ",sapdataNodeInfo[idx].NodeName,")' If Not then try out below
1. Edit the file control.xml in the installation directory (default: sapinst_instdir).
2. Search for the line similar to OraCom.trace("fmgr.getNode ");
3. Remove this line and save control.xml.
4. Restart the installation with Option "Continue old Installation"
Keep posting !!

Umesh

Hi,
There could be a bug in sapinst. Could you please download the
TREX 7.0 Release 36 (or latest) from the SAP Service Market Place and try to install this directly . Please delete the temporary files
(traces and xmls) in the sapinst_instdir before you start installation.
The download site:
http://service.sap.com/swdc -> Support Packages and Patches ->
SAP NetWeaver > SAP NETWEAVER > SAP NETWEAVER 2004S> Entry by Component>
Search and Classif. (TREX) > OS > TREX 7.0 REV xx.
Hope this helps,
George

Hi George ,
Thanks for the reply,
Iam going to follow the way you suggested.Iam going to do the following:
1)Iam downloading Trex 7.0 REV 36
2)I'll remove all the files in sapinst_instdir folder or should I remove the folder itself.
3)I'll restart the installation by running ./sapinst command.
4)After the system asks for the Trex path,I'll browse & will give the location of
Trex 7.0 REV 36(the file suggested by you) .
Lets see what happens?????
will revert you soon.
Thanks for the support.
Regards,
Sunil
