roles in R/3 not being push on Netweaver Portal

Hi

on my R/3 system, all the proper roles for the user I have created that I want are there.

Therefore, when I log on the portal with the user, I don't see the roles that I am suppose to see.

any help

Do you mean that you have connected your R/3 system with a portal.?

If yes then have you implemented the relevant business packages on your portal system?

my r/3 system is the base system

I have connected the portal to a r/3 system

Hai,

I mean to say that we are connected portal to r/3 system...

we applied BPs for CRM

created the group in R/3 and it worked

Hai,

Upload the R/3 roles into the portal, in the SYSTEMADMINISTRATION tab...

search in that there u have the option of "Role upload"

select your backend system... select the roles you want....and upload...

and assign the roles you are uploaded into the portal to the portal users..........

now login .....now you can see the roles....top level navigation..........
