Cannot activate due to error in predecessor activity

Hi,

The activity cannot be activated(moved to active workspace) as the predecessor activity results in compile error. I would like to remove the predecessor activity as it is not significant anymore and is rather a hindrance to my future activations.

Or should I correct my old activity.

Has the predecessor activity already been checked in? If not, you should be able to revert it. If it has been checked in already, you can activate it with the Force Activation option enabled.

Hi Pascal,

But a forced activation would publish a build with errors in my active workspace?

Correct. If you cannot revert that activity you need to resolve the error with a new activity.
