Bid invitattion - mandatory bidder

Hi,

It's mandatory to have at least one bidder for all bid invitation types for my system. but there's on exceptional case whereby the message shown to enter at least one bidder must be an error message instead of warning message.

currently the setting of the message is set to warning, how can i set it to error message for this particular bid invitation type?

any Badi that i can use?

at badi for doc check for bid invitation, we prompt another error message for mandatory bidder for that particular bid type.

I agree with Dinesh..In Standard SRM,the message is of type ERROR.

Hi,

Using SPRO->SRM->SRM Server->Cross App Basic Settings->Message->Influence Message Control.

For the Business Object of Bid Invitation, its true that the standard is of type E, but we set it to type W.

We had overlooked it.

You can control with the message BBP_PD 429.

The constraint for your requirement is that SAP has given the message control at Business Object (bus2200) level and not at transaction type (BID, RFCR, etc.) level.

Don't think any BADI is there for it.

you can check whether you can create custom bus object for yr exceptional BI type and then influence it seperately.

You say currently the message for "one bidder mandatory" is "warning" for you.

In standard it is "error"type.

Have you done some development for this?
