CBS Server Error

Hello JDI Experts,

I am facing CBS error while activating the DC. I have a library DC which contains certain jar files. Local build was successful and when I check-in the activity and try tpo activate it, I'm getting following error:

Activation failed: CBS Server Error: CBS failed to communicate with some other server( internal code: COMMUNICATION_ERROR).

Can anyone please tell me why I'm getting this error and how can I solve it.

Thanks for ur response. I don know if the serve is up or not. I'm new to the JDI environment, so can u please guide me how to check if the CBS server is running or not. And also how can a developer view the log files of JDI

Hi Abhinav,

You can check if the CBS is alive or not using Heartbeat test. But I do not know if the developers can do that.

But you can simply check this way also. From the CMS you should be able to get the CBS,DTR URL, just check if you are able to view the index page. Same way you can check if DTR server is also fine. This is how I check some times.
