Hi SD experts,

I have question for you. While I create a Sales Order, I am getting an error like this "Business area has not been determined for the item". I checked in the IMG and couldn't find it. Can anybody tell me the config for this please...

Go to SPRO,

Enterprise Structure / Assignment / Sales and Distribution /

Business Area Account assignemnt.

There you can assign the business area by Sales area, or by Plant/ division as per your business needs.

Need to set default rules for business area determination.

Location: SD>basic function>account assignment>business area account assignment

First allocate the rules by sales area (OVF0), then make assigments

t-code: OVF1, OVF2

The standard SAP R/3 System contains three rules for determining a business area:

1: Allocation of business area for each plant and division T134G

2: for each sales area TVTA

3: for each plant and item division
