Hello

i try to create a new communication channel (in integration builder), but on the parameters page 'Adapter type' available for selection? What do I have to to do in order to see at least the 'RFC Adapter'?

So the problem is, there is no entry in the list 'Adapter type' - i'm not able to select an adapter

thanks

franz

Hi,

Do these steps

1) Download XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_10_00.tpz which is available in a zipped format from the SAP Service Market Place.

2) Unzip the contents and copy the file XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_10_00.tpz (if you are using PI 7.0 or else download the file for your XI version) to

/usr/sap/<SAPSID>/SYS/global/xi/repository_server/import/

3) Goto Repository (Design)

4) Choose -> Tools -> Import Design Objects

Hi Franz,

for point 2) above, check what SP you are currently on.

eg:

if you are on PI 7.0 SP 10, the file XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_10_00.tpz, would work for you. if you are on PI 7.0 SP 12 the file XI7_0_SAP_BASIS_7.00_12_00.tpz should be downloaded from SAP service market place and imported in the repository.

Thank you,

Hi Franz,

Check the adapters that are installed by using this URL of AdapterFramework with there status :

http://<xiserver>:<port>/AdapterFramework/monitor/monitor.jsp

Also go through the link which tells you about the Adapter Engine in XI:

http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/0f/80243b4a66ae0ce10000000a11402f/frameset.htm

this site only displays adapter 'JPR', with a red icon

site looks like this:

- Adapter Engine

-

JPR (with red icon)

no further adapters are displayed on this page
