Hi,
we have PI 7.0/SP10 - SLD on seperate JAVA instance.
Everything worked fine till yesterday. Now our SLD-Connection (SLDCHECK) from PI to SLD fails with error "error opening RFC-destination". The connection test in SM59 for the rfc-destination SAPSLDAPI fails too!
The settings in SLDAPICUST are correct
Our SLD runs on Windows and there exists no service sapgw02. Is this correct or do we need this service running on Windows?
If we need this service, please tell us how to restart this one.
A server-restart doesn't help!
Regards
G. Goergen
Thanks a lot
we have found the mistake there was a second instance to start the services on the machine.

Hi Gerhard,
Check out this "Access To SLD From ABAP Fails"
http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/78/20244134a56532e10000000a1550b0/content.htm
Also check the following,
1. Check if the user PIAPPLUSER is locked.
2. Do a Test connection in SM59 for SAPSLDAPI & LCRSAPRFC. (Make sure this is fine)
3. Goto SLDAPICUST transcation and maintain the URL for SLD and also give the PIAPPLUSER and password.
Regards,
Prateek
