Hi JDIans,

Am getting following error while deleting DCs from DTR workspace. Can anyone guide me what role is essential to delete DCs?

Activation Failed: CBS Server Error: The user does not have the authorization for the requested operation (USR_MISSING_PRIVILEGE)

Hi Abhinav,

From the error message I feel that you don't have permission to activate. You need CBS.Developer role for activation.

Hi Akshatha,

Thanks for lightening response. I think I've developer rights, as I'm able to create and activate other DCs. But only while deleting, I face this error.

The scenario here looks starge to me. If you can activate other DCs of same SC you should be able to activate now as well.

At which step of DC deletion are you facing problem? Is it at the activation step?

Yes, at the activation step, I get the error.

Hi Abhinav,

Can you post the error message?

Please check for you CBS roles. Check if you are not locked on the CBS server. These are the preliminary checks I can think of now.

Some times if some imports are running then you will not be able to activate your changes. In that case the error message will say you need administartor previleges...If it is so try to activate after some time...
