hai i got question like if we created & saved a sales order than create delivery and saved.when doing PGI system throwing some error messages wht could be the possible errors

Hi,

Check in delivery whether the material is relevant for Picking and TO. Accordingly create transfer order or picking before doing PGI. This can be 1 of the reasons. Let me know what error you are getting.

Hi Kumar,

The scenario above can be one of the reasons to get an error. I will list some of the scenarios below

1) If Warehouse is enabled for a plant and Transfer Order is not created for the particular delivery then you can get a error while doing PGI.

2) If the stock in the specified Plant and storage location does not exist then also you can get error message while doing PGI.

These were some possible reasons i can think of i hope my other SAP Friends in this forum will add to my above list if they can let us know some more scenarios.

Could be multiple reasons:

1. All quantities in delivery document are not picked

2. Picking confirmation is required but not done

3. Packing is required but not done

4. Sufficient material not available in Plant

5. Valuation assignment not done in MM. Assigning of GL accounts, plant valuation code etc

The errors may be on posting periods, warehouse or g/l account
