Hello,
I've been using the following Weblog in order to implement filtering on a table:
/people/subramanian.venkateswaran2/blog/2005/05/10/filtering-table-values-using-webdynpro
But I get always a RuntimeException long before the filtering methode is invoked!
Can anyone help me?
Thanks.
Cemal Salman

Hi Cemal,
I think you are not getting the data from the backend. Check if the table is populated without using filter. And you need to bind only the coulmn which you want to filter.

Check if TableColumn.filterValue is bound to a valid context attribute.

Hi,
I implemented a library management tool which enables you to view the lsit of existing exemplars by a table and create or modify already existing exemplars.
Now, the list of (book)exemplars are listed / shown by a table. There is a column 'exemplar_id' which is a internal unique id for an exemplar. They begins with e.g. 'LE_SAPA' which means that this exemplar can be borrowed and belongs to the category Common SAP books.
The exception is thrown by all columns not only by the colum exemplar_id.
Exemplar_Id is an attribute mappped to a table column.
