SAP .NET Connector vs. .NET WebServices

Former Member

Hello,

I am using Visual Studio .NET 2003 and SAP .NET Connector 2.01.

With the .NET Connector it is very easy to create a proxy and then use this to connect to SAP.

On the other hand it is also very easy to create a new .NET web reference and also connect to SAP.

Which way is recommended by SAP and why?

Which way are You using and why?

Thanks in advance.

Best regards.

If you only need to support new SAP System (6.20, NetWeaver), WebServices is the recommended way.
