Hi all,
I am trying to logon into my new client(after client copy) with sap* its coming like too many failure attempts, i got all users in the old client, i am able to logon with those user(came from client copy) in the old client, but these users don't have access to any transaction? what i have to do if i want to create a new user?
In your case, you will have to set SAP* password to default that is provided by SAP to get into the system. The process involves deleting table entries from user table USR02 for SAP* user and the required client and setting instance parameter login/no_automatic_user_sapstar to 0.
You will need to take help from an experienced BASIS admin for this task.
Cheers,
Nisch

Hi,
I think your sap* user is got locked. First unlock this user and assign the roles to others. You can use ddic user to unlock sap* user.
