Regarding Virtual Memory?

Hi,

We are windows 2003 server with a 32-bit architecture,SAP 4.6C,and with a RAM of 8GB.

I want to know how much Virtual memory we should set for our system.

We have 3 partitions named C,D& E.

Can anyone explain me how much virtual memory we should set and should we set this for all the drives?

today's recommendation is 1 times RAM plus 8 GB. (in your case 16 GB).

the old recommendation 4 times RAM but not more than 10 GB was suitable for systems with small amount of memory but not for servers with a lot of virtual memory.

It's the total size of the pagefile not the size per pagefile per disk.
