QM Notifications

Hi.

I am looking at the QM prod. pack and the transaction for creating a QM notification. Is is using a Bapi, IQS4_CREATE_NOTIFICATION. Does anyone have a link to further documentation on this ??

Hi Sam.

I have mailed with Manfred Schulz, as this Bapi name where referenced within the QM quick start within Download -> manufacturing.

I might look for info on the one, you mentioned also.

And his recomendation where to ask a QM consultant for further information....

Poul,

I believe that the IQS4_CREATE_NOTIFICATION BAPI is actually for a PM and not a QM notification. Instead I believe that the BAPI you want to use is: BAPI_QNOTIFICAT_CREATE but I recommend checking this with the BASIS team and also going into SAP GUI and transaction code BAPI for further documentation. Hope this helps.

Unfortunately there seems to be no documentation on the IQS4 Function Grp.

Did you try the other forums?

You could also look @ the standard Quality Notification BAPIs and I am sure they would serve the purpose.
