Registers used to record sales and taxes

Hi all,

I want to know which registers are used to record the sales revenues and the taxes. for ex RG23.

hi,

revenues do not flow to ne registers, they flow to g/l accnts which are created and assigned as per the business need. excise duty and the various excise condtions flow into registers (which inturn are g/l accnts themselves). which register will be updated depands on teh scenario- in case of sale from factory its rg1 in case of sale from depot its rg23d. other excse conditions too flow into diff. registers.
