Change Label for Screen Fields

Dear All;

I have some standard fields for which i need to change the field label in ITS. Eg Change the "Vendor" descr of a field to "Supplier". How do i do that in ITS . This involves changes to SAPLBBP_PDH_SEARCH 1000.html.

Please suggest.

Hi

<b>There are 2 options available here -></b>

1) Using HTML Template changes -> Unfortunately, this is not possible without SAP standard code modification... by making changes directly using SE80 transaction in the Internet Service BBPSEARCH.

2) Using Screen variants for BBPSEARCH Screen using SHD0 Transaction ->

Screen variants can also be used to change the displayed columns in the search result lists. If you want to set the "completed SC" flag by default, you will have to change the standard code.

Hi,

You can easily modify the ITS template for this reqt.But be careful as this is a generic template used across many screens.
