Run time error while saving Service desk message

Hi

I have opened one message using transaction CRM_DNO_MONITOR, When i am doing any change in the message & save, it result in run time error with the following details: -

Runtime Errors OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED

Except. CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL

Date and Time 21.09.2007 16:19:28

Short dump has not been completely stored (too big)

Short text

Access via 'NULL' object reference not possible.

What happened?

Error in the ABAP Application Program

The current ABAP program "CL_TRIGGER_SELECTOR_PPF=======CP" had to be

terminated because it has

come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.

Error analysis

An exception occurred that is explained in detail below.

The exception, which is assigned to class 'CX_SY_REF_IS_INITIAL', was not

caught in

procedure "SELECT_PROFILES_BY_APPL_REF" "(METHOD)", nor was it propagated by a

RAISING clause.

Since the caller of the procedure could not have anticipated that the

exception would occur, the current program is terminated.

The reason for the exception is:

You attempted to use a 'NULL' object reference (points to 'nothing')

access a component (variable: "LO_TRIGGER").

An object reference must point to an object (an instance of a class)

before it can be used to access components.

Either the reference was never set or it was set to 'NULL' using the

CLEAR statement.

Please help

Regards

Gautam

Hi

Thanks a lot for the reply, but the note is not applicable as we are already on the higher support pack level for BBPCRM. Also the Client 300 (which i am using for servise desk) has been created from client 000.

So need more help on the same.

Thanks

Gautam

Hi Gautam,

To configure the service desk,as per my information you need to create the client using 001 client and not 000.

For details please refer SAP Note. 908565

Prem

Hi Gautam,

I hope there is some configuration missing out for the Service desk.

The client where in you are having service desk was generated by which client as the source?

As per my information it should be 001 and not 000.

Regards,

Prem
