Hi,
We are unable to uninstall Mobile Client (MSA) software from the client system. We have 3 systems (Desktops) to test the data sync between CRM server and Mobile. We have successfully tested data sync between development CRM server and the clients. We are trying to use the same machines to test the Quality data of CRM ( as it is more accurate) hence we tried uninstalling mobile components in the reverse order. We are getting fatal error during installation when we uninstall MSA.

Hi Kamalesh,
if nothing helps do it old school MSA - manually
1. Delete MSA related Registry Keys in HKLM\Software\SAP\.....
2. Delete the SAP mobile Folder in the Windows Program Files Directory
3. Delete Ides/scekbs User in the SQL Server
4. Delete Ides and SCEkbs DB File
5. Run the Tool mcuus2 from Microsoft to delete the MSA Installer entries in Windows
6. Run a regcleaner
7 Reboot
Now you can install again;-)

Hi,
In other projects when we want to switch between different CRM systems (Dev,Qa..) for testing purposes we don't uninstall the soft on the Mobile Clients but change the parameters for connection, install a new DB empty, install the last .mup and made a initial dowload from the new crm server (assigning the Mobile client to a new site in the new system).

Hi, I'm uninstalling because we have planned to test the project from the step1 in QAS landscape, there could also be scenerio's to uninstall MSA from field ( Users ) laptops after the data sync between server and mobile client.
Did you try uninstalling MSA after the sync between SAP CRM server and mobile client.
