what is meant by DB look ups in XI ?
Hi Sudhakar,
If we want to refer any additional info in the runtime of any scenario apart from the incoming message then we perform the look ups. DB look up is nothing but refering to the database system for the data during the runtime. Here our XI will connect to database for any look up values specified in the mappings...

Hi sudhakar,
It will dynamically fetch the content from DB.
and for that we can execute it from Message mapping.
we need to define UDF in mapping for this,Before this we need to create a communication channel in ID to define the CC in our UDF.
thanks,
kalyan
