System landscape information during the java Stack install

Hello:

During the java stack installation, there was a screen to capture the SLD information with 3 choices:

Central installation

local copy

do not apply ( something like that)

When should any of the choices be used. I used the 3rd choice and then as the post installation process created the groups and roles for the SLD and also add the users to the respective roles but not able to see the Portal Content from the portal page even aftre importing the data to the SLD.

Hi Ravi,

If you choice first option, than your system information will be store in your central SLD server.

For second option, its mean if you want to build a new SLD.

And last option, you system info not past to SLD.

Its not impact to your installation.
