any function module or DB tables i can retrieve from?

You can see the tables COMM_PRODUCT(Product

),COMM_PRSHTEXT( Product description ).

COMM_PRODUCT</b> table holds Product details.

<u>Function module</u> COM_PRODUCT_READ_VIA_RFC can also used here.

Hi Atul,

Your replies to many of the queries have been helping me a lot in troubleshooting during SRM system build.

I have issues in the following areas. Can you please provide me suggestion or send me any material that might be of help:

1. I am currently building a SRM system which is a copy of some other system. The backends are different. The issue is that the product related data of the previous backend still exists and when i run "Material" in R3AS, the report runs but the materials from the new backend does not replicate. Manually created materials in the new back end seem to replicate. (The product hierarchy has got replicated from the new backend)

2. The Vendors were also from the old backend system only. I then deleted the entries in VENMAP table and ran the vendor_sync program, but the message is that no vendors exist to be replicated. Newly created vendors also are not getting replicated.
