BASIS 4.0-4.6 or SAP WebAS 6.20-7.00 Installation on Windows XP, Vista

Hi Friends,

I have a question.

SAP Installation:

SAP BASIS 4.0-4.6 or SAP WebAS 6.20-7.00

can it be done on Windows XP , also can it be done on Vista?

Hi Ankit,

First of all, SAP is not designed to work on Win XP. It should be installed only on a server O/S like Win NT, Win 2000 Server, Win 2003 Server. SAP need some Server level OS. But still if you want the installation guide for SAP 4.6 (No more supported by SAP) or NW you can download from the bellow link.

Hi Ankit,

I am not sure you can. As windows XP or Vista is not a server.

Last time its not work for me, it fail during Oracle installation.
