XI Adapter ?

Hi Guys,

I have proxy - soap scenario. Do i need to use XI adapter on the sender side ? I know proxy communication is adapterless communication, then why we need to use xi adapter for the server proxy ?

I have seen i xi adapter configuration we can also select sender option, when we can use the xi adapter on the sender side

any help would be appreciated

Hi,

this is to establish a connection to receiver system. in case of a sender proxy u already have a HTTP destination to connect to integraton server which u specify in SXMB_ADM

Hi

In case of sender there is no need for a communication channel. In case of receiver, you specify the target R/3 details in the XI adapter communication channel.

its not mandatory that we hav to create xi adpter for sender side.

Need for sender XI adapter

In the Integration Server, to enable the PCK to send messages to the Integration Server.

In the PCK, to enable the Integration Server to send messages to the PCK.

when you using pck to communicate with you small business partnet.

you should config a xi adapter on the sender side in pck of partner.
