Hi experts,
one question.
I did a sales order with position type TAB.
After I did the p/o request it's still changable to a free of charge position type, in my case to TABN.
Q: Why is the postion type in a sales order not changable after saving the p/o?
Thanks in advance.
Hi Wolf,
The position type which is otherwise commonly known as Item Cagtegory, this is just for an information, if anyone who couldnot understand what position type is.
As there is an subsiquent document which is dependent on the position type of the sales order, so you cannot change it now,
Reward points if it helps.

ZTA NORM ZAN ZANN ZAB ZABN
ZTA NORM ZAN ZANN ZAB ZABN
ZTA NORM ZANN ZANN
Where ZTA = TA, ZAB = TAB, etc.
What do you exactly mean with "If you maintained Manual item Category
it will be changable in sales order"?
Addition:
I just want to be able to change from ZAB (TAB) to ZABN (foc) item category and reverse after creating the po.
Thx in advance.

Hi,
The Item category TAB is for Indiavidual purchase order.
In item category determination (VOV4). If you maintained Manual item Category
it will be changable in sales order.
Do not use word Position type, use Item category ok
Thanks
