how to remove star in script

i want to remove the star in currency field , i want to do in script itself like &value(t)&., can any one help regards this one...

i.e

**********23.09 as 23.09

Hi,

Uee the follwoing statement in print program:

REPLACE all occurances of '*' WITH ' ' INTO value.

condense value no-gap.
