How can we sell the materials from multiple plants? what are the necessary configurations to be done?

Hi,

Multiple plant is sales is possible if u have maintained all plants in Sales Org + Dist Channel + Plant assignment. Then you have option of plants in the sales order.

Also during availablity check - Screen you can find (Other Plants) button where you can press and check which plant has the material and can select it. This will have impact on Taxes etc as they could be redetermined.

Yes u can deliver the goods from multiple plants .

Provided ur material is extended or created in that plant .

ur plant should be that sales area .

in Availability check screen by selecting other plant option u can check the stock avilability in other plants also.

Be sure the shipping point is assign to the new plant. As it is one of the key to create the delivery after sales Order

we can sell the material from multiple plants provided u have done the prior settings.

maintain the material master correctly with the delivering plant.

change the delivering plant in sale order as needed.

but plant is determined firstly frm CMIR and thn CMR and lastly MMR so whr should the changes be done....... pls reply........

Hi Vepa

First u have to do the changes in CMIR. Becos when ever you create a sales order system will first look for CMIR.

You can extend the plant for a perticular Sales org, dist channel, material type etc with T-Code- MM50 in one shot.
