Hi Nikos,

It look's there is some problem in DB startup, so follow the bellow steps.

1. stop OracleService[SID]

2. start OracleService[SID]

3. sqlplus "/ as sysdba"

4. startup

does this work?

if so, restart SAP

This will solve your problem.

Regards,

Hari.

Nikos,

Sorry, you check in the services that any sqlDB service is running or not?, if any is not active try to stop and start it. There is some GUI facility to start and stop SQL DB, try to start DB from it.

Hi,

You could try to do a SAP Kernel Update and make sure that you take a Backup of the SAP kernel (/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/run).

Next try to reboot the system and then restart your Database & SAP Application.

Prem

Nikos,

Try to compare the services with any other SAP server in the land scape.

There is a wahy to start DB from OS level in SQL, but i did't worked much on SQL.

If you want to stop and start the service from OS level in Windows then go to services.msc

Thanks

At last the problem was not from sap, kernel, sql ..etc .It was just from Windows Update . After this update , as i said , the system needed one reboot . I dont know how an why ...on my computer -> properties -> advance -> Enviroment Variables ...i had lost basicaly user Variables (like DBMS_TYPE ,path , DBMSNAME ...) .

I reinpute all thess parameters and now the system is Up and working perfectly .

I have to thanks all for your messages
