Hi ITS gurus:

1) How can we export(download) the existing application and import(upload) to new system ?( I did not find in migration document)

2) It is an external facing application and using a SAP Internet User for authentication.

How can we authenticate this user and how can we maintain the authorizations ?

3) How can we get the SICF config parameters from old ITS 6.20 system.

4) How can we transport ITS service in ECC ?

Please provide guidance.

If you are upgrading from 46C to ECC, and your existing templates etc are stored in repository via SE80, then you do not need to export / import - they will still be there after the system is upgraded. you just need to fix them so they work and re-publish to internal ITS. Ther is a program for loading externally stored templates, mimes, etc - SAPRSIAC or similar name? Do not have system available to check - it is in the documentation.

There are lots of options for logon authentication - mostly set up through service configuration in SICF.

SICF service parameters are mostly taken from those in the service - currently set up on parameters tab of top level in se80

I want to add more information.

It is part of technical upgrade of 46c to ECC.

We are checking the migration options.
