Saprouter connexion problem

Hello everyone,

I face a problem with my saprouter, when I stay connected to SAP without using it more than 15 minutes, the connection is broken down !!!

The connection of my saprouter is ok if I work on SAP without interruption.

Any idea to tune the connection keepalive of saprouter ?

Are you sure it's a saprouter problem ?

We have had this kind of problem and it was a time out of our X25 connection, not of the saprouter.

Sorry I don't see what you mean with 'X25', can you explain ?

My firewall (ISA server 2006) is configured to let incoming connection go through and my saprouttab too, the parameters mean to be correct cause it's work but may be there is a problem with compatibility between ISA server and the saprouter ?

When the connection is local, we didn't have problem. Only when the connection is from the WAN.

Hi Jean,

This is not the problem of SAProuter, it's bacuse of your VPN or WAN network which are killing the connection when ever it's idle.

X25 is a type of Wan (wide area network) commonly used for SAP connection.

As the other person said, have your network team check the idle time out of your wan connection.
