Please tell me what is the transaction code to change the ORDER TYPE?

This is for customization . not for mass or single change

SPRO  IMG  Sales & Distribution  Sales  Sales Documents  Sales Documents Header  Define Sales Documents Type

examples:--

-- Select BV (Cash Sale) and press Copy (F6)

-- Change the name as CS or any document name and customize the details depending on the client requirement

-- Select SO (Rush Order) and press Copy (F6)

-- Change the name as RO or any document name and customize the details depending on the client requirement

Depending on the clients requirements you can also customize Language settings for the document type as well as Number Ranges

in Tcode VOV8 you can copy and change the Tcode and give the name as Z

and customise as per your requirement by going to the details of that order type

set in vov8 for alt order type, while preparing sales oder you can have option choosing between these two order type , in overview screen
