Field Level protection

Hi,

I need to provide field level security, the fields needed to be protected are the revenue recognition dates in sales order.

the field names are VBEGDAT ,VENDDAT , , the table is VEDA.

Please suggest the possible solution in this regard

1st you should know in which transactions the restrictions should be applied,

2nd go into TRX SU24 and lookup the authorization objects assigned to these TRX.

3rd try to find the fields in the objects assigned.

If you cannot find it that way: go to SE16 display table USOBT (or USOBT_C if your company makes use of that) try to find the fields in that table.
