Hello!

I would like to set up the CCMS functionality for the DB part for the different satelite systems (MTE class CCMS_DB_mcmtc).

But if save/activate this monitor i get the following warning:

<SID> : MTE class CCMS_DB_mcmtc : No MTEs currently available

How can I activate this monitor?

Thank you very much!

regards

Thorn,

Is your database on a different server to your central instance ?

Hello!

Thank you for your response!

I have created my own motitor set "DB" that is uses for monitoring the systems with Oracle or MaxDB.

The MTE class behind this monitor is "CCMS_DB_mcmtc".

Unfortunately for the SAP systems with SAP DB I receive the warning "no such MTE's available currently".

These systems have the DB and the central instance on the same server and will be monitored from Solution Manager.

Thank you very much!

Hello Thom,

Please review the recommended SAP note 588515 < It has reference to (RZ20 - SAP note 545030) where the Database Alert Monitoring (RZ20) provides the option to set up a central alert monitoring to monitor several database instances. >.
