Dynamic Table Creation

Hi,

Can someone tell me how do we create a dynamic table in the NWDS??

When there is not data in the table .it must be invisible.

When there is data in the table we must vary the size accordingly.

Please help.

Hi,

for making the table invisible when there is no data, simply add a SIGMA operator as output of your data service for counting the number of records.

Store the result somewhere (in a invisible form or in a data store).

Then use the visibility function on the table in order to make it visible only if the number of records is > 0 - sthg like int(#ID[ACA1VDK]@BANK_KEY) > 0

For what concerns dynamic size ... I'm affraid this is not possible

Hey Karim,

thanks for the reply.

We can set the no. of rows dynamically by setting a context to the row property of the table and then get the no.of rows into the context.
