Client Copy Error

Hi all

i am facing a problem in local client copy when i start this it give me this error

RFC destination for client copy in systems with Financials Basis

(FINBASIS) component.

The system could not find any suitable RFC destination for processing

for client 000.

This note also appears if an RFC destination was found but this does not

work.

o RFC destination: FINB_TR_DEST

o Error text: 100

Proceed as follows to eliminate this error:

1. Start the wizard to create a new RFC connection

or perform the following steps manually:

1. Create an RFC destination with the target ZK>source client of client

copy (in this case 000).

Check whether the RFC destination works in transaction SM59.

To avoid errors when assigning the password or the authorizations of

the RFC user, use the authorization test Test -> Authorization.

Enter the RFC destination:

- Transaction: FINB_TR_DEST (Destinations for Transport Methods of

the Financials Basis)

- Client: 000

Start the client copy again.

Please Help Me I am NEW in Basis

Hi kumar,

Please create RFC destination in SM59 which will be required for data transfer between source and target client.

Also Check for connection test and authorization test.

Hi

I have created RFC connection Z_FINB_TR_DEST in client 000 and checked connection in Client 100 its working what i do.i set here usre sap* and i able login client 100 via rfc .

Hi Kumar,

Go through this note 726056.

As Check is restricted to specific client this happens.

Just apply the corrections available in this note it will work.

Let me understand you:

Are you making a local copy from 000 to a new client 100 with transaction SCCL?

Please explain what do you want to do and what are the steps you followed so we can be able to help you.

Hi Kumar,

If the Financial Basis component is installed, an RFC destination is needed for a local client copy for the source client of the copy (error message FINB_TR032).

Kindly SAP Note Note 568784 - Termination with client copy (Financials Basis) for further details and resolution.

Hi,

do you want to copy 000 to 100? If so, you have to define connection from 100 to 000 (and be able to log in via RFC from 100 to 000).
