PPOMA_BBP attribute validation

Hi All,

We have added the custom attributes to the organization using PPOMA_BBP.

We need to validate the values maintained for these attributes.

For this we have maintained an entry for each attribute in a table <b>BBP_ATTR_F4CONF</b> i have selected the Read from Table or View options ,since these attributes have domain attached to it.

But when i give value other than maintained in the domain the system does not throw any error message.

How can i do this validation?

Hello Sohit,

When you added your entries in BBP_ATTR_F4CONF, did you noticed anything strange the Business partner in PPOMA_BBP?

I mirrored a custom attribute after PM_PUR_ORG but after I made the entry in BBP_ATTR_F4CONF, I noticed that the Business Partners displayed differently. They went from 3000054 to 54 and not just on PPOMA_BBP. It happened to transaction BP and others.

What did I do wrong?

Hi,

I guess for the custom attributes you need to attach a search help FM/Check FM in table T77OMATTUS to validate the values entered for the attribute.
