Hi
I would like to develop PDF reports from my Web Dynpro application.
I have the Adobe LiveCycle Designer installed and working.
I understand that Adobe Document Services comes as standard on portal 7.0, but needs to be activated.
Could someone pls show me how to activate the Adobe Document Services on the Visual Administrator?
thanks in advance
Anton Kruse
Hello Anton,
ADS are by default installed and started with your J2EE engine (all the services Document Services *; IIOP; PDF; XML have to be started).
To run Interactive forms in WD apps, you need to install a credential: refer to the config guide available on service.sap.com/adobe > Media library > Documentation.
There's a trial credential on SDN in the downloads section.
Regards,
Francois

Hi Francois
I followed the config guide and set up Basic Authentication.
When I run the test http://<server>:<port>/AdobeDocumentServices/Config I get an error:
<i>Incorrect content-type found 'text/html'</i>
any suggestions?
thanks
Anton Kruse
