What is SAP* and DDIC password in Netweaver

Hi... this is Tyson, I.ve installed Netweaver SR2 in windows successfully. The system console is up and running but am unable to login in sap system with sap* and ddic users in both the clients 000 & 001..

The passwords what am trying is:

sap* = 06071992

ddic = 19920706

Can anyone plz let me know the correct passwords if these are wrong !

And when i click on ICM in console its asking me for icmadm login details; suggest me

Hi Suri,

You might have assigned one Master Password to all users created by SAPinst. This password is used for all user accounts .

so pls try by using this password to login.

Tyson,

If nothing is working, please do the following (this will work for sure):

1. Change the following parameter in profile:

login/no_automatic_user_sapstar=1

You will have to do it directly on OS level. This parameter should appear either in Default or Instance profile - search for files with extension 'pfl' in your SAP install directory.

2. Restart your SAP system.

3. Log in with sap* and password"pass".

4. After that yo can maintain your SAP users via 'SU01' transaction.

Hello Tyson,

Default password for SAP* is pass.

Try it if you are not able to logon then reset it from os level from query

delete USR02 where BNAME = 'SAP*' and MANDT='000'.
