my questions regarding an MMC

hi to all,

i have two questions?

1. i want to know the basic definition for "Message service" wat is the purpose this service.in wat way it is using ?

2.wat is the differents between central instance and diagloue instance ? and in wat way the diagloue instance is different from diagloue work processor...

for the above questions any sap note is there to find out the answer ?

Hi Mohan,

1) Let me correct it's Messaging server main purpose is keep tracking of all the dispatchers(dispatcher is responsible to complete GUI request's by distributing/sending them to appropriate Dialog, Update,......BTC Work processes. Internally each WP will connect to DB and complete the GUI requests. Iam attaching a good document which clears all your query's.

2) CI is where your Message server stays, Dialog instance is where you populate more WP's to scaleup(serve more no. of users) your solution.

DI is different from WP's , each DI consist more no of WP's.
