How to trigger workflow in R/3 using XI

My scenario is HTTP - XI - R/3 (workflow).

1.Can some one tell me all the possible ways to trigger an workflow in R/3 using XI?

2.Can i do content conversion at HTTP client level? Or can i send a flat file using HTTP client?

3.Also i need step by step configuration details for abap proxy client to xi

Hi satya,

it's pretty easy. Create a proxy as mentioned above, in this proxy you use functionmodule SAP_WAPI_CREATE_EVENT.

As for the proxy, just search the blog section for ABAP proxy, there are a lot of goodies on that topic.
