I am using a File to File Scenario. Our file size is currently close to 75 - 100 MB. Whether File Adapter is capable of handling this file size? Whats the optimal size normally we should go with for File and other adapters? Whether I have any pointers from SAP?
Thank you
Optimal file size is 5MB
U can split ur file before processing using some operating system commands.

Hi
Too large for XI
optimum is 5 mb size. Better split the file for processing

Splitting the file before it enters XI would considerably reduce the load on XI.
Also check this valuable thread where size related issue is discussed
Also note for an option in the sender adapter
Maximum File Size
The adapter only processes files that are smaller than the specified size. An error occurs if files are any larger
